Tina Woodley, now living in Bonaire, is a former power lifter and body builder. In 1985 she became world champion powerlifting and European champion body building. 

Tina offers personal coaching and personal training on Bonaire. For anyone who wants to get fit or stay fit. Tina believes that getting fit requires focus on nourishment for body, mind and spirit. This means that besides exercise, nutrition and mental health are also very important.

When we say Holistic Fitness, we think of it differently than the typical understanding of the word fitness. 
We like to think of fitness as a lifestyle using a holistic approach.

This lifestyle comes from a 4 step process:

Action (after you have clarity of thought, you take action)
Investment (the action can consist of time investment or tools like workout tools and nutritional plans).
Surrounding (creating a place and a social environment to support your new lifestyle changes)

I encourage and teach my customers how and what to eat one meal at a time, using great food. I also provide them with the STEPS to succeed. This eventually becomes habit which leads to a life of change. Eating is 80% of the battle I prepares you for a war against bad food.

Excercise

Right at home or at Tina’s Personal Training Studio

Depending on your situation and your personal fitness plan we can either exercise at your home, somewhere outdoors on the island or in Tina’s private fitness studio. In the studio Tina’s has a broad variation of work out equipment, and she even offers oxygen therapy.

Pilates

Fun & Effective

Pilates is a great and fun way of working out. Besides full PT programs, Tina also offers private Pilates classes.

Hiking and Nordic walking trails can be unpaved roads or rocky areas.

What Nordic Walking Can Do For You

 

If you are interested increasing your fitness, lose weight, or just social walking in the fresh air while protecting your joints, Nordic walking is a sport you will enjoy. Anybody can do it!

Nordic walking burns around 20% more calories than standard walking because you’re using 90% more muscles – but you don’t feel it. Because of the poles, you are using your chest, arms, shoulders and other core muscles aside from your legs.

What you need:

    • Good walking shoes, 
    • A introductory course to learn the technique of using the poles.

Hiking With Poles

The difference between regular hiking and Nordic Walking is how you shift your body weight. The Poles give a symmetrical support and provides many others benefits like protecting the knees when walking downhill. Additionally, with Nordic Walking you are using more muscles of the upper body. You can also use the Poles to push off when going up a steep hill which will give you an advantage and help you keep the correct posture.

All programs are provided with a Personal fitness coach.
